François X - The Skin Between Us Part I

French techno legend François X delivers the first edition of his two-part EP The Skin Between Us, out June 20 via his revered XX LAB imprint.

More than just a release, The Skin Between Us is a personal and poetic statement, a sonic meditation on identity, embodiment, and legacy within the European techno scene. It emerges from years of immersion in the raw energy of Black American electronic music, house and techno alike, and the deep reverberations of those sounds through European club spaces.
From the physical drive of Bone and Signal to the hypnotic tension of No More Shell and the slow emotional descent of Silent Tension, each track is a fragment of a larger narrative.

Techno as Introspection, Rhythm as Memory

Part II will be released digitally in October, alongside a vinyl edition that includes all tracks from both parts.
